AULA Neos 75 - An Aluminum Low-Profile Keyboard with an Audio Deck Attached

AULA, best known for its gaming RGB keyboards, has released a keyboard with a completely different character this time. The Neos 75 has a small console that looks like an audio deck attached to the right side, and it caught my eye the moment I saw the photos.

✨ 3-Line Summary

  • 👍 Biggest strength: The knobs, buttons, and screen on the right-hand console give it a distinctive design identity
  • 👎 Downsides: The price is high, and there aren't many real-world user reviews yet
  • 🎯 Recommended for: Minimal desk-setup fans who care about the look and feel of their desk

Because it is low-profile, the wrist height is low, and the console sits where it stays out of your hands' way

🔍 Why It Caught My Interest

The console is the personality

Two knobs, round media buttons, and a small screen are gathered into a single block. It looks like a portable music player attached to a keyboard, and this part defines almost all of the product's character.

A single block of aluminum

The chassis is said to be a CNC-machined aluminum unibody, and even the keycaps are metal. Metal keycaps are still rare on mass-produced keyboards, so I imagine it would look like a design object on a desk.

Remappable controls

Functions like volume, screen page switching, and a calculator are assigned to the knobs and buttons, and you can change them in the dedicated driver. I won't know whether those functions are actually useful until I try them, but I like the direction.

🤔 What Gives Me Pause

Price and verification

The Coupang listing price is around KRW 300,000, which is far from the value-for-money image that usually comes with AULA. Specs such as switch feel, noise, and battery life need to be confirmed in official materials.

The console may be a matter of taste

Some Chinese forums reportedly described the console as looking like a hump. I find that part appealing, but I think opinions will be divided.

📋 Product Features (Subjective Ratings)

  • Design: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • Portability: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (a 75% aluminum board probably isn't light)
  • Practicality: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
  • Value for money: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (at around KRW 300,000)

🛒 Before You Buy

✅ Recommended for

  • Anyone looking for a keyboard that doubles as a desk object
  • Anyone who uses a volume knob and media keys often
  • Anyone who prefers a low-profile typing feel

❌ Not recommended for

  • Anyone who really needs a full-size number pad
  • Anyone who chooses mainly on value for money

🎯 Final Verdict

The Neos 75 is a keyboard you choose for its design rather than its specs. The atmosphere created by the aluminum body and the audio-deck-like console is its biggest appeal.

There is still little real-world information, so I would like to wait until reviews accumulate before confirming the typing feel and battery life. If the design speaks to you, check the price on Coupang.
