Habity E-Paper Bedside Clock - An E-Ink Alarm Clock That Guards Your Bedside Without a Phone

Let's be honest: for a lot of us, the only reason the phone sits next to the bed at night is the alarm. Habity's E-Paper Bedside Clock takes over that whole job, so your phone has no reason to be on the nightstand. What I like most is that the screen doesn't glow all night.

🔍 Why It Caught My Eye
Buttons you can tell apart by feel
The large dial on the side turns to adjust settings and volume, and presses to select. On top there's a yellow stop button and a wide snooze button. Since the shapes are different, I figured you'd rarely mix up the two actions even half asleep.
A screen that doesn't stay lit
The 3.7-inch e-ink screen works by reflecting ambient light, so it doesn't emit light constantly. In the dark, a warm light comes on for 10 seconds when you touch it, so the time isn't glowing at you all night.
Sleep sounds without an app
The built-in speaker can play rain or ocean waves, and apparently there are quirky sounds too, like a sleeping dog or a dishwasher. No app or subscription is needed, and it plays for up to 8 hours.
🤔 What Gives Me Pause
One alarm per day
You can set different times for each weekday, but only one alarm per day is possible. If you're in the habit of setting several alarms, that could be inconvenient.
Price and how to buy are unconfirmed
I haven't been able to confirm the price, where it's sold, or whether it can be bought in Korea.
Yet another clock
If your bedroom already has a mood light or an alarm clock, this could be redundant. You also need to honestly ask yourself whether you can really keep your phone off the bed.

🛒 Pre-Purchase Checklist
✅ Recommended for
- Anyone who wants to break the habit of checking their phone the moment they wake up
- Anyone looking for a clock with soft lighting and sleep sounds
- Anyone who likes minimalist e-ink gadgets
❌ Not recommended for
- Anyone who needs multiple alarms per day
- Anyone who doesn't want a separate device besides the phone alarm
🎯 Final Verdict
The Habity clock isn't about adding features; it's about getting your phone off the nightstand. I think pairing e-ink with physical buttons is a smart choice.
It's a shame that the price and how to buy it are unknown. I'd like to check back on it once more information comes out.
