🔍 Why It Caught My Attention

The nostalgia of the name

If you remember the Walkman from the cassette era, the same name carries a lot of feeling.

The side button layout

Physical buttons lined up along the side let you operate it without looking at the screen, which looks great for usability.

🤔 What Gives Me Pause

A high price for a premium line

Gold-plated lineups are generally expensive. The actual price still needs to be confirmed.

Replaceable by a smartphone

In the streaming era, whether a dedicated player is worth it comes down to personal taste.

This is closer to an object you want to own than a practical purchase. The combination of a golden frame and the Walkman name is the charm.

Once the price is confirmed, it's worth taking a realistic look then.
