Pokémon Edition Beats Pill - Pikachu and Mimikyu Graphics, Same Price
With Pokémon's 30th anniversary bringing a flood of collaborations, the one that stood out to me on the audio side was the Beats Pill. A Pikachu and Mimikyu graphic sits on top of the capsule-shaped speaker, and it comes with a Poké Ball-shaped strap charm and stickers.

🔍 Why It Caught My Eye
A Collaboration That Didn't Raise the Price
Limited editions usually come with a markup, so it felt fresh that this one just adds the extras and keeps the price the same.
The Fun of Decorating It with Straps and Stickers
With the Poké Ball charm and stickers, I imagine the same speaker would look like a completely different object hanging off a bag.
🤔 Things I'm Unsure About
The Sound Is Likely the Same as the Standard Model
Since this is a design-focused edition, I doubt the sound is any different. The exact specs still need to be confirmed.
Whether It Launches in Korea
I haven't been able to confirm official sales or pricing in Korea yet.
📋 Product Traits (Subjective Ratings)
- Design: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
- Portability: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
- Practicality: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆
- Value for money: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (for reference only, since the price isn't confirmed)
🛒 Pre-Purchase Checklist
✅ Recommended for
- People collecting Pokémon 30th anniversary merch
- People looking for a speaker to clip onto their bag
❌ Not recommended for
- Anyone for whom sound quality comes first
- Anyone put off by character designs
🎯 Final Verdict
You're buying the fun of decorating it, not performance. What I liked most is that the collaboration arrived without a price increase.
Once Korean sales information is confirmed, that would be a good time to decide whether to buy.
