ENILINX TICKEY - A 3.8mm Color E-Ink Photo Clip That Hangs on Your Bag

This is a gadget that lets you take the photos sleeping on your phone and carry them around as a physical object. A 3.7-inch color e-ink display sits inside a 3.8mm aluminum shell, and it's a clip you can hang on a bag or stand on your desk. It feels like the Polaroid has come back to life in the digital age, which is what caught my eye.

✨ 3-Line Summary

  • 👍 Biggest strength: Instead of a powered-on screen, you carry a photo with a paper-like texture.
  • 👎 Downside: Practical details like price, battery life, and how photos get transferred still need to be confirmed.
  • 🎯 Recommended for: Minimalist EDC fans who want to pull their favorite photos out onto a bag or keychain

📸 Product Tour

A scene of photos moved from a phone onto TICKEY

The photo from your phone shows up as-is on the ticket-shaped e-paper clip.

TICKEY and a smartphone on a desk

The ticket-style body comes with a keyring loop, and its edges are cut in a stamp-like perforated pattern.

TICKEY hanging from a backpack

Hooked onto a bag zipper, it looks like an accessory.

Walking through an event with TICKEY attached to a bag

Carrying it around like this is the whole point.

🔍 Why It Caught My Attention

The idea of taking photos out as an object

Photos tend to get buried in your camera roll once you take them, right? TICKEY brings those photos out to a place where you can actually see them. Unlike a phone, which goes dark when the screen turns off, the e-paper keeps showing the image, and that's the appeal for me.

A 3.8mm aluminum shell

At 3.8mm thick, it seems like it wouldn't be a bother to slip in next to a card wallet. The aluminum body also gives the impression that it could survive being tossed around as a keychain.

The ticket-shaped design

The stamp-like perforated edges and yellow frame give it a toy-like sense of fun. It may be a little flashy for minimalist tastes, but it looks like there are color options.

🤔 What Gives Me Pause

Not enough real-world information

I couldn't confirm the price, battery life, photo-swap speed, or transfer method. E-paper tends to refresh slowly, so I think I'll only be able to judge that part once real reviews come out.

The color quality of color e-paper

Color e-ink often has low saturation, so I'll have to see it in person to know whether photos look as vivid as I'd hope.

📋 Product Features (Subjective Ratings)

  • Design: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
  • Portability: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • Practicality: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆
  • Value for money: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (price unconfirmed, a question mark)

🛒 Before You Buy

✅ Recommended for

  • People who want to carry their favorite photos on a bag or keychain
  • People who like e-ink devices

❌ Not recommended for

  • People who want to change photos often and quickly
  • People who care about vivid color

🎯 Final Verdict

TICKEY is a gadget that leans more toward fun than practicality. Its use is basically picking one photo from your phone and hanging it on your bag, so you'd get by fine without it. Still, the combination of 3.8mm thickness and a paper-like screen is quite appealing for EDC tastes.

If the price, battery life, and refresh speed check out, it could also work well as a gift. For now, I plan to keep it on my wishlist and wait for reviews.
